Lace Sheets Part One

I am in love with lace. Romance is the first thing that comes to mind when I think about the word lace. I haven't gotten around to purchasing any lace sheets yet but it's only a matter of time. Like I have said before, I think most things can work in any style as long as there is continuity. Lace can work in most styles however, if you are going for a masculine look then lace is a no-no. Unfortunately, one hardly ever see lace in a setting other than a feminine one. So in part 2 I will post different ways to rock those lace sheets. In the meantime

Crochet Bedspread

Vintage Bedspread

I am from the south. I have lived in the north most of my life but I am a Southerner. There's no getting around it. I still have the accent, the habits, the culture, and just the plain ole fabulousness of being from the south. One of the things that remind me of home are crochet bedspreads.

The obvious room to use a crochet bedspread is in the following types of rooms: Romantic, Bohemian, Vintage, and Cottage. I have a very eclectic decor...matches my personality for sure. What is great about an eclectic decor is that you can have pieces from everywhere and somehow it just works.

With that said I would use the bedspread in any room including a very masculine one. Obviously in a masculine room you would not cover the entire bed. Instead fold it and place it at the bottom of the bed. Or perhaps drape over the arm of a chair. Fellas, I don't encourage laying but tell your honey (if she asks why do you have such a feminie piece) that it reminds you of you mother or grandmother. Instant awe he's so sweet factor.

Are you ready to add a crochet bedspread to your linen wishlist? I know I am.

Snurk Bedding

Snurk Bedding

A dutch company called Snurk has made some unusual bedding to say the least. The proceeds from this bedding go to SZN, a foundation for helping homeless young people in the Netherlands.

is a fitted sheet that has pavement block digital copied on to 100% cotton.

All I can say is do I really need to add something else to the wish list? NO! Will I? Oh hell YEAH!

White Spotted Wolf Faux Fur Thow

Spotted Wolf Faux Fur Throw

$270-350 depending on size

I have been eyeing this throw for around a year. It is time to save up and get it. It looks so soft and fluffy. Certainly one of the best faux furs I've seen. I hope it looks as good in person.

Note: though this is a faux fur throw its lining is suede
